Hello Everyone from Zero Empathy
I know i am not more Member from Zero Empathy but i will stay always for ZE and support this Clan with Clan tag or without!
However i am looking all the time everyday in the Internet to build up my Knowledge and i am an guy i have to be up to date my Knowledge all the time. Because effective its more as an Word , its an abbility and should be more increased.
Here is an Example about Multiplicative and Additive Buffs and how they will be calculated together :
Assuming we have a base damage of 1000 dps and two items that increase our dmg by 50% each.
Multiplicative: 1000 * 1.5 (first 50% buff) = 1500 * 1.5 (second 50% buff) = 2250 dps in total.
Multiplicative means that the buffs are calculated by MULTIPLYING the dps seperately one after another.
Additive: 1000 * 2 (first 50% buff + second 50% buff) = 2000 dps in total.
Additive means that the buffs are ADDED and then used together to calculate the new dps.
Now if we have Groupbuffs and some of these Buffs are Multiplicative and Additive. How we can calculated this Buffs together ? Here is the next example about the Buffs in the Group.
Say you have three different buffs, and you use a skill that does 100 damage without any of these buffs.
Buff A = 10% damage bonus
Buff B = 15% damage bonus
Buff C = 20% damage bonus
If the buffs are additive it means they stack like this to increase your damage:
100 * (1 + 0.10 + 0.15 + 0.20) = 145 damage
If the buffs are multiplicative it means they stack like this to increase your damage:
100 * (1 + 0.10) * (1 + 0.15) * (1 + 0.20) = 151.8 damage
If Buff A and Buff B are additive, but Buff C is multiplicative they stack like this to increase your damage:
100 * (1 + 0.10 + 0.15) * (1 + 0.20) = 150 damage
So in summary if a buff is additive, it is first grouped with other like buffs and all added together before they give their damage bonus. A multiplicative buff stands on its own and gives its damage bonus directly on top of everything else. As you can see in this example a buff being multiplicative generally grants it more weight and power in increasing your damage.
Of course I saw it on the Internet from someone else but I have partially given back it up with my own words and will continue to make efforts more and more himself with my own knowledge to formulate it.
But yea i saw its without anykind of Grammar problems and Spelling mistakes and because that i have copied this and changed with some points with my own words!
I have documents collected for years without anyone helping on Diablo 3 different classes and it would also add that you may also see that I'm doing something alone me . But it takes even more time , I need to collect more information and then add something about my own theory !
In the upcoming Era and Season , i hope we or you guys can get an better Result on the Leaderboards like the last Perfomance.
Or better to say i wish everyone in Zero Empathy good luck and i am hope we/you can bring more Honor back in this Clan.
Best Regards
